While the inaugural year for Setsucon ended up only attracting around 288 people, the atmosphere easily outdid much larger conventions to an exponential degree! Held January 27th, 2007 from the State College Days Inn in State College, PA, it became the area's newest anime con sensation & the TAKII World Tour was right there, helping to make things happen for this very special event. Traveling from Philadelphia, PA to State College, PA on a Greyhound bus all in the same day (o_0 LOL), D-chan brought with him the best that The Asian Karaoke Idol Invitational had to offer through a special edition of the World Tour. Once settled, he met with the Setsucon Board Of Directors & was able to see 1st-hand just how organized they were (& this is after they had to change their arrangements from being a 2-day to a 1-day event almost at the last minute).

From staff shifts to crowd control, they had it down to a science & were able to set the TAKII World Tour up with everything it needed in no-time flat! As D-chan would take to the stage & sing some covers from InuYasha, Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (Fullmetal Alchemist), K-Pop, & J-Pop, Setsucon staffers were already hard at work across the way, preparing its attendees for what would be the convention's 1st-ever karaoke event & contest, thanks to the TAKII World Tour's "TAKII Show" & "Say WTF Karaoke". Participants got free Asian snacks & swag, while the "TAKII Show" winner ended up gaining herself money & free passes to TAKII 4 ~Rhythm D-Generation X-Treme~!! While all of the traveling in 1 day was arduous enough, it was a trek that the TAKII World Tour was more than willing to make once more when its services were requested for Setsucon 2008!
